I am pleased to announce that Christopher Blackburn is joining the Terror Finance Blog.
Chris works as a freelance political and security analyst; his expertise and research areas include intelligence, counter-terrorism and defence. He is also the British Representative of the Intelligence Summit- an international forum for military, business, law enforcement and intelligence leaders. He was also involved in aiding the investigative teams for the 9/11 Familiies United to Bankrupt Terrorism, a lawsuit aimed at targeting the alledged financiers of al-Qaeda and other jihadi groups. He worked with the BBC's Panorama programme on "A Question of Leadership?" a documentary which highlighted the ties of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) to fundamentalist groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood and the Jamaat-i-Islami. He regularly briefs journalists, politicians and human rights groups on radical Islamism.
We at the Terror Finance Blog are happy to have Chris on the team and we look forward to reading his contributions.
