The "Counter-Terrorism Online Handbook", www.un.org/terrorism/CThandbook) was just published by the U.N., with "material...mandated by the UN General Assembly.” Since the U.N. does not agree on a definition of terrorism, one wonders what this book is supposed to counter.
Moreover, judging by the U.N. successes with Iran’s terrorist regime headed by Ahamdinajad, the terrorist Hamas led Palestinian government, Syria or North Korea, this book, if followed, would be a recipe for supporting terrorism instead of countering it.
The book, which is to be regularly updated, is said to focus “on areas that would deprive terrorists or would-be terrorists of the financial and technological resources to carry out their activities.”
The U.N. advertises, “the handbook will focus on ways to prevent financing of terrorism.” Would it help to stop the U.N. funding of Hamas?
Would the advised promotion of education be modeled after the Iranian or the Palestinian death culture taught in kindergartens and schools funded by UNRWA ?
And if the U.N.’s past and current behavior is of any indication, the protection of “nuclear, biological, chemical or radiological materials,” is aimed at protecting the Iranians.
The publication of this Counter- Terrorism Handbook seems as yet another pretense by the U.N. that they are serious about fighting "terrorism" - a non-existing phenomenon according to the U.N.
